San Diego Responds

Our community stands united against antisemitism. San Diego Responds is a collaborative initiative that empowers individuals and organizations to take meaningful action in addressing hatred and bigotry. Here, you'll find resources, programs, and opportunities to learn, engage, and advocate. Together, we are creating a resilient and secure community.

  • Incident Response

Incident response includes investigating reports of antisemitism, reaching out to the affected individuals, notifying law enforcement when appropriate, and coordinating a community and educational response.

  • Law Enforcement

Law enforcement investigates reports of antisemitism and, when appropriate, initiates internal procedures to determine hate crime designation and pursue prosecution.

  • Research & Reports

Researching and reporting on antisemitic acts to contextualize incidents within a broader framework, including details such as location, type of incident, and comparisons with similar occurrences both locally and nationally.

  • Tracking

Tracking antisemitism and analyzing trends provides a comprehensive, high-level overview of data on antisemitic incidents. This analysis highlights year-to-year comparisons, identifies types of incidents that are increasing or decreasing, examines location-based trends, and notes involvement by law enforcement.
